Today I am going to dive a little bit into why kava can be so beneficial in applying the principles of the universal laws into our daily lives. I will be going into greater detail in future posts as well as an MP3 I will be releasing later this week. But first a quick overview and some general insight.
Lets first start with a brief history of kava for those of you who are new to kava and it's benefits and history. Kava kava (Piper Methysticum) is a lush, leafy green member of the pepper family, from the tropical islands of the South Pacific. Kava kava whose Latin name Piper methysticum literally translates as "intoxicating pepper" has been used for centuries by the inhabitants of the South Pacific Islands as a ritual drink, a social beverage, and also as a medicine. Kava's active ingredients are found in the plant's dense, fleshy roots, which contain kavalactones and other components that can have a therapeutic effect.
Scientists believe that kava works by acting on the limbic system. What is the limbic system? The limbic system is a complex set of structures in the brain that lies on both sides of the thalamus, just under the cerebrum. It appears to be primarily responsible for our emotional life, and has a lot to do with the formation of memories.
Ok, so how does this apply to the principles of universal laws? Well there is one universal law in particular that this applies to and it is the basis of Kava-Traction and that is the law of attraction. The law of attraction states "that which is like attracts". One of the keys to the law of attraction is visualization, but more importantly, visualization with emotion. You see, your emotions act in a sense as your guidance system as to what you are attracting into your life. Most people are unaware of this fact and worse yet are unaware of the scale of emotions and what some of them actually feel like. When you are stressed, anxious, angry or depressed, you will continue to experience and attract the same into your daily life. Remember this, whatever you don't express you suppress and everything that is suppressed will find an unhealthy way of expressing itself through you. These negative emotions are subconscience and are triggered by your thoughts. Your subconscience in essence is just like a hard drive on a computer, retaining all information that goes in from the day you were born and everyday there after. When you are stressed you tend to worry and feel a sense of fear accompanied by blame or guilt. This can be a viscous cycle for some and can have detrimental effects to your health and well-being. Fortunately there are simple measures you can take to alleviate this pattern and I recommend starting with kava.
Kava once ingested, will soon induce an immediate sense of ease, warmth and relaxation that continues to increase over a span of several hours. There is never any accompanied drowsiness or disorientation, just a sense of ease and well being. It does not interfere with one's ability to focus or concentrate and relaxes the mind and body. You see only you control your thoughts and when you take 100% responsibility for this you will start to raise your awareness and change will soon begin to occur. We all desire to be successful and experience joy, empowerment and well-being but you can't get there in one giant step up the emotional ladder. Change is a journey, an emotional journey and a journey into higher awareness. Kava is an effective tool and one I am grateful that I attracted into my life. I hope to inspire others to take that first step towards change because health is the natural state for your body to be in and we are all worthy and deserve to be in good health.
P.S. - As I mentioned, I will go into greater detail as to the range of emotions and how they are triggered by your thoughts in my new MP3/CD that I will be releasing later this week.
